In 2005, National Brain Tumor Society launched a groundbreaking Financial Assistance Program in recognition of the devastating financial impact that a brain tumor diagnosis has on a family. From its inception to its conclusion in 2009, the Financial Assistance Program of the National Brain Tumor Society gave out $1.5 million to families in need. 

 

Due to the economic downturn, we were unable to raise all of the funds that we had hoped we would to continue this program. However, National Brain Tumor Society remains committed to supporting patients and families through our programs and resources. We are pleased that Cancer Care and HealthWell Foundation are continuing our efforts to assist families through financial support.
