Raising Funds, Raising Hope!
All over the country, people whose lives have been affected by brain tumors are organizing events to support the National Brain Tumor Society's work.
Events serve many purposes. In addition to raising much-needed funds for the programs of National Brain Tumor Society, local events have the significant benefit of raising awareness about brain tumors. Creating an event can be a fun and meaningful project for friends and family, as well as an engaging way to reach out to new people.

- Research Funding – NBTS funds projects in many of the leading medical institutions in North America. In 2008 alone, NBTS granted $4.5 million dollars to research.
- Outreach and Support Programs – These programs include Caregiver Trainings across the country, informational Web/Teleconferences, financial assistance to help brain tumor patients, peer support groups, and more.
