Tulips Against Tumors
Tulips are a beautiful symbol of hope and faith for a brighter future. Carefully planted in the fall, they reward our patience by bursting forth as glorious heralds of spring.
In September, join the National Brain Tumor Society (NBTS) and the community of patients, survivors, caregivers and supporters in celebrating the Annual Tulips Against Tumors tribute, raising funds for brain tumor research and advocacy one bulb at a time. There are many ways you can participate:
Purchase Tulip Bulbs: 50% of your purchase will be donated directly to the National Brain Tumor Society to fund treatments, and ultimately a cure. Order your tulip bulbs today.
Memorialize and Honor: Plant a tulip bed to recognize Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, honor someone battling a brain tumor, or celebrate those who have lost their fight. Gather your friends and family and turn the planting into a community event. It’s an easy, fun and meaningful way to have an impact.
Tell Your Friends: Share this page with friends, family, and followers on social media so they too can experience the joy of beautiful spring tulips. Tell them to spread the word. Follow our Tulips Against Tumors posts on Twitter and Facebook.
About Tulips Against Tumors
Founded in 2005, the Kelly Heinz-Grundner Brain Tumor Foundation (KHG) partners with the National Brain Tumor Society to honor Kelly Heinz-Grundner who passed away in 2005 after a courageous two-year fight against a brain tumor.
National Brain Tumor Society is proud to carry on the Tulips Against Tumors tradition in recognition of the brain tumor community, as well as supporting tulip lovers across the country. We are once again partnering with EcoTulips, a pioneer in the organic flower bulb industry, to feature a wide array of bulbs and mixes. EcoTulips offers a high quality organic alternative to chemically grown bulbs.
