My husband’s battle

Published on March 14, 2017 in Share Your Story

My husband was diagnosed with GBM June 21,2016. The diagnosis was extremely shocking. None of us had never even heard about GBM. He was given 9 months to a year to live. His tumor was in the left frontal lobe about an inch down, inoperable. He declined rapidly following radiation and Chemotherapy.About 3 weeks after treatment ended he ended up in the hospital after suffering from a stroke. That’s when we found out the tumor was larger and he only had weeks to live. He passed at home on October 8,2016. We were never given an information on GBM we had to research it ourselves.
