I was in remission from ovarian cancer for 15 months when I started to have sinus-type headaches and loss of balance. An MRI showed that I had a large tumor in the middle of the back of my head, and a much smaller one a little above. I had emergency surgery to remove the larger tumor and had a good recovery. Today, I had gamma knife surgery to remove the small second tumor during which time a third small tumor was found and also treated with gamma rays. In another month, I will have an MRI to determine if the gamma was successful. My gyn/oncologist has never had a patient with metastasis to the brain in 30 years, and will consult with another doctor to see if chemo is needed. I am really worried since another tumor grew in one month.
