GBM Day

Act: How to Get Involved

GBM Takes; We Give: It takes so much from us, but on Glioblastoma Awareness Day we honor, act, and give back.

On this page you can also find downloadable graphics that you can share online, as well as directions to participate in a special social media campaign, Take a Shot Back to #DefeatGBM. We encourage everybody to utilize these resources to help spread the awareness.

Join The Conversation & Get In On The Action

Thanks for participating in Glioblastoma Awareness Day! We’re so glad to have you involved in this first-ever day of commemoration and action for glioblastoma!

We’ve put together this toolkit to provide you with all of the resources you need to participate in #GBMDay on social media.

SOCIAL MEDIA TIPS & TOOLKIT

The most important way you can follow the conversation on social media, and join yourself, on Glioblastoma Awareness Day is to use the day’s official “hashtag”: #GBMDay (see the full social media toolkit for more hashtags to use during the day).

Our NBTS social media team will be online and looking to retweet and share your posts! Find us on Twitter @NBTStweets, and on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube for the latest content to use to help spread the word about #GBMDay.

Give today for GBM Awareness Day

On GBM Awareness Day, we honor the patients, families, and care partners who have faced glioblastoma — the most common, complex, treatment-resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer. There is no question that the urgent and unmet needs of the GBM community continue to grow.

With such limited progress made in treating these aggressive and complex tumors, we know that the time to act is now. Make a gift today, and help to accelerate the rate at which we discover, develop, test, and approve new treatments, while working together to advance a cure.
