National Brain Tumor Society is excited to be back in Texas at AT&T Stadium on March 1, 2025 for a 5K walk/run to raise awareness and funds to support the needs of brain tumor patients and their families.  The DFW Brain Tumor Walk & Race is a family-friendly event for all ages! Join us for a morning of celebration, remembrance, and hope at the home of the Dallas Cowboys. Your community is here. Let’s discover a cure, together.

In-person participation options include an event t-shirt if you register prior to February 5, 2025. Event t-shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Registration fees will increase 30 days prior to event day, and again on event week.

Registration Fees:

  • Walker – $30
  • Timed Runner– $35
  • Youth Walker (12 and under) – $5
  • Youth Timed Runner (12 and under) – $15
  • Volunteer – FREE

Volunteers are essential to the Texas Brain Tumor Walk & Race! Thank you for your dedication to our shared mission. Groups, schools, community organizations, families and individuals are all welcome to volunteer. Need student community service hours? Our event is perfect!

Register online choosing “volunteer” as your participation type. Once registered, you will receive an email to confirm your volunteer shift. For more information about volunteer opportunities at the Texas Brain Tumor Walk & Race, please contact Christine Curtin at DFWinfo@braintumor.org.

Virtual Participant
FREE registration for those who are unable to attend the event in person. Event t-shirts will be mailed to all virtual participants who raise $75 or more by February 5, 2025. T-shirts will arrive to you by event day. Virtual participants who register after February 7, 2025, will not qualify for an event t-shirt.

7:00 a.m.Day of Event Registration Open

7:00 a.m.Pre-registered Participant Check-In Opens
– pick up your event t-shirt
pick up your runner bib if you are a timed participant

8:00 a.m. – Remembrance Ceremony
-this is a time for those who have lost someone to gather and honor them

8:30 a.m. – Opening Ceremony
– David Arons, CEO, National Brain Tumor Society
– 2025 Survivor speaker
– Survivor tribute, photo, and march to the race start

9:00 a.m. – 5K Run and Walk Begin

10:15 a.m. – Closing Ceremony and Awards Begin

10:30 a.m. – Self-guided tours of AT&T Stadium begin

Site and Parking Map:

Free on-site parking will be available in Lot 10.

For the walk/run, participants have the choice to run the 5K as a timed participant, untimed runner, or walk the 5K or 1 mile route at your own pace. Wheelchairs and strollers are welcome. For the little ones, stop by our Kids Tent for fun activities. Light refreshments and water will be available for all participants, but you are welcome to bring your own as well. Please note, due to stadium regulations, pets are not allowed at the event.

Team and Individual Fundraising Incentives

Fundraising for the brain tumor community takes real commitment to our cause, so we want to celebrate your successes.

Commemorative Pin

Our NBTS Accelerator Club recognizes event participants like you driving brain tumor breakthroughs forward through your fundraising efforts. The more you raise, the more additional prizes you can earn. By raising $250 or more on your personal fundraising page by event day, you will become part of the NBTS Accelerator Club.

$250 – Accelerator: By raising $250 or more on your personal fundraising page by event day, you will become part of the NBTS Accelerator Club and receive exclusive benefits, including:

  • 2024 Accelerator Pin. Wear it at your event to raise awareness and share pride in your fundraising efforts
  • Recognition at registration and packet pickup
  • A Digital Accelerator Badge on your personal fundraising page

$5,000 – Changemaker 
In addition to the Accelerator Club benefits, you will also receive:

  • VIP Fast Lane at day-of event registration and t-shirt pickup
  • Changemaker lanyard
  • Verbal recognition at the event by the event emcee
  • Changemakers will be highlighted on social media

$10,000 – Groundbreaker 
In addition to the Accelerator Club Benefits, you will also receive:

  • VIP Fast Lane at day-of event registration and t-shirt pickup
  • Groundbreakers will be recognized on stage at your event!

  • Groundbreakers will be highlighted on social media

Additional Individual Fundraising Prizes:
Achieve one of the milestones listed below by March 15 and your prize will be mailed directly to your home post-event.

  • Raise $500 – $999 on your personal fundraising page to earn a NBTS crossbody bag
  • Raise $1,000 – $4,999 on your personal fundraising page to earn a NBTS mesh trucker hat
  • Raise $5,000-$9,999 on your personal fundraising page to earn a NBTS sweatshirt or hoodie
  • Raise $10,000+ on your personal fundraising page to earn ALL THREE PRIZES!
Team Fundraising Prizes:
  • All teams who raise $500 by February 17 will qualify for an In Honor or In Memory sign for your loved one to be displayed at the event.
  • All teams who raise $2500 by February 17 will qualify for a Team Shoutout slide on the big screen on event day.
