August 2022

In February 2022, I was having severe migraines. One migraine lasted more than 45 days. I could hardly function, much less go to work. I went to multiple doctor visits. My primary care provider refers me to a neurologist. I had several MRIs done, and then came the news. I had brain tumor. I thought the worst.

My neurologist referred me to a neurosurgeon. I had more tests, and he recommended having surgery. Yes, I was scared to death. My tumor was removed in August 2022. It was huge. It went from the top of my skull all the way to my pituitary gland and into my sinus cavity. They removed most of it without causing physical damage to me.

I still have some of the tumor, but I am here today. Recovery was hard for me, but I did do it.  I couldn’t have done it without the support of family and friends.

Just remember you got this. Fight it with all you have. You are loved. Rock it like you own it.
