Caregiver Support Conversations

November is National Family Caregivers Month, and NBTS is excited to announce a special Caregiver Support Conversation event on Wednesday, Nov. 9, 2022. Like our Brain Tumor Support Conversations, this online support group will offer care partners of patients with brain tumors a welcoming space where they can have honest, supportive discussions about the feelings and emotions that accompany their experience.

Mary Lovely is a patient navigator at the National Brain Tumor Society and has more than 35 years of experience working closely with brain tumor patients and families as a neurological nurse, clinical nurse specialist, and research nurse. Dr. Lovely has co-facilitated a monthly San Francisco support group for patients and families affected by brain tumors since 1998. She has led caregiver support groups for UCSF’s Caregiver day and has also guided patient support groups at the yearly Milton Marks Camp for adult brain tumor patients for seven years.
