Saved

Scott

How a brain tumor saved me. 15 yrs ago when I was 29, I was on the wrong path. I was diagnosed with a grade 3 astrocytoma that goes thru entire temporal lobe. I had a seizure but didn’t know it because I drank too much, after 2 months of misdiagnosis, a nurse told me to get a cat scan, as I walked away, tech was crying.

I get to my house, there’s message from the doctor “bring your wife with you.” I cried all night when they told me, then sent me to the hospital, after shipping tumor to 6 different of the top oncology departments in the country. I got 3 different diagnoses, tumor was growing so fast, went right into debulking surgery, to 6 weeks of conformal radiation then 1 year of 3 chemo cocktail, after I had triplets and have carried on to make a difference in every life I touch.
