My mom was happy and healthy enjoying her life doing great in this coronavirus pandemic.
She was forgetting some words in day to day life which was noticeable. As her family, we all were talking about taking her to a neurosurgeon because she was forgetting words. We all were a little worried so we decided to go to see a doctor when it felt safe to do so.
Two days later she had a stroke or seizure. They did an MRI and there was a tumor on front partial lobe on the left side of her brain. The doctor told us it looked like it is cancerous and we were terrified. After surgery she was diagnosed with glioblastoma.
So now it’s been a week she had a surgery. She can talk but still forgets words. Her right side is very weak due to surgery and she can’t walk without assistance. Time will tell how quickly she recovers.
We are going to start radiotherapy and chemotherapy and hope for the best possible outcome.
