Georgia Brain Tumor Walk & Race

National Brain Tumor Society invites the Georgia brain tumor community to come together at The Battery Atlanta on May 11, 2024 for a 5K walk/run to raise awareness and funds to support the needs of brain tumor patients and their families.  The Georgia Brain Tumor Walk & Race is a family-friendly event for all ages! Join us for a morning of celebration, remembrance and hope. Your community is here. Let’s discover a cure, together.

In-person participation options include an event t-shirt if you register prior to April 11, 2024. Event t-shirts are not guaranteed to late registrants. Registration fees will increase 30 days prior to event day, and again on event week.

  • Walker – $25
  • Timed Runner– $35
  • Youth Walker (12 and under) – $5
  • Youth Timed Runner (12 and under) – $15
  • Volunteer – FREE

New in 2024

Virtual Participant – FREE registration for those who are unable to attend the event in person. Event t-shirts will be mailed to all virtual participants who raise $75 or more by April 11, 2024. T-shirts will arrive to you by event day. Virtual participants who register after April 11, 2024, will not qualify for an event t-shirt.

Event Schedule

7:00 AM – Registration Opens
8:00 AM – Remembrance Ceremony
8:30 AM – Opening Ceremony with 5K race to follow
10:15 AM – Closing Ceremony

For the walk/run, participants have the choice to run the 5K as a timed participant, untimed runner, or walk at your own pace. Wheelchairs and strollers, and leashed pets are all welcome. For the little ones, stop by our Kids Tent for fun activities. Light refreshments and water will be available for all participants, but you are welcome to bring your own as well.

All teams who raise $1000 by May 1, 2024 will qualify for an In Honor or In Memory sign for your loved one to be displayed at the event on May 11, 2024.

All teams who raise $5000 by May 1, 2024 will qualify for a Team Shoutout slide on the big screen on event day.
