NBTS events are held rain or shine, and your safety is of the utmost importance. The NBTS staff is monitoring the weather forecast for the New York Brain Tumor Walk on Saturday. It looks like it may be a little wet, but still safe to convene. As of now, the event is still scheduled as planned so please dress accordingly.
We will continue to monitor the forecast and communicate any updates via email and our Facebook Page. If you don’t hear from NBTS staff by 6:00 am Saturday morning, the event will be held as scheduled.
The New York Brain Tumor Walk community will be walking and running in person on October 1, 2022. After two years of coming together virtually, we look forward to being physically together, once again, for our annual event. Virtual participant and programming options will still be available for those interested or unable to attend in-person.
Download our Brain Tumor Events app! Fundraising and communicating with your network is now easier than ever with our new mobile app available on the Apple or Google Play Store.

(updated 2/22)
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, National Brain Tumor Society plans to implement the following safety measures for in-person outdoor 2022 events. Please note these are subject to change if conditions worsen in the coming months. NBTS will continue to follow local and national CDC guidelines related to safely convening our community. Please be advised that while we realize restrictions are loosening in some of the regions that we serve, the health and safety of our most vulnerable attendees is our greatest priority.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in adhering to the above protocol during your event. We are so excited to come together as a community after two years and with your help, we can do so safely.
As an event sponsor, your organization will connect with the brain tumor community on a platform that will enable meaningful and enduring impact for both your brand and our mission. Sponsorship will allow your organization to make a difference in the lives of millions.
