As NBTS continues the return to in-person events around the country, we want you to know that the safety and well being of our staff and volunteers is our top priority. We encourage those in attendance to educate themselves of the health risks associated with attending mass gatherings and know that we will be offering virtual opportunities for engagement for those members of our community who opt out of attending. Masks will remain optional at this time, but are encouraged for the immunocompromised or “at-risk” members of our community. If you have been recently exposed to someone who had tested positive for COVID-19 or are exhibiting any symptoms, we do ask that you refrain from attending. Thank you for your cooperation and we look forward to seeing you in person in 2023

Choose your pickup date and time here. If you need to change your reservation time, you can go back into the google document and change your choice at any time. Questions? Email us at racedc@curebraintumors.org.

Stop by Road Runner Sports at Pentagon Row to pick up your race bib and t-shirt in advance of event day on Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6! Special discounts will be available for customers that purchase products in store during packet pick up hours.
Team captains are encouraged to come themselves or send a team representative to pick up the t-shirts and bibs for team members. No identification is necessary. Please bring boxes or bags to carry t-shirts home. Team Captains can then arrange to distribute packets and bibs at a convenient place and time for their team.
Make sure team members know packets are being picked up for them so that they don’t come to the packet pickup. If a team member would prefer to pick up their packet, that’s fine, as long as the representative picking up team packets knows this.

Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, the Race for Hope DC has become one of the most successful races in the Washington, DC area.
Volunteers at pre-race events and on Event Day are essential to the Race for Hope’s success. There is no charge to register as a volunteer and all registered volunteers receive a special volunteer t-shirt. In addition, you can volunteer on your own or as part of a team.
Participants who walk or run in the 5K but who also volunteer are another key to the event’s success. Packet Pick-ups; Event Day Set-up and Clean-up; Kids Fun Run; Gear Check; and the Survivor Tribute are just a few of the positions available which enable participants to also volunteer.
