The Race For Hope Philadelphia community will be walking and running in person on October 8, 2022. After two years of coming together virtually, we look forward to being physically together, once again, for our annual event. Virtual participant and programming options will still be available for those interested or unable to attend in-person.
October 8, 2022
Registration opens at 7:30 AM
Walk/Race starts at 10 AM
If you are unable to attend in person, register as a virtual participant and additional details on how to participate virtually on event weekend are coming soon!
All registered participants are invited to pick up their t-shirts and/or race bibs in advance of Saturday, October 8. We are hosting an outdoor Packet Pick Up on Thursday, October 6 and Friday, October 7 at the Courtyard Marriott at the Navy Yard (1001 Intrepid Ave. Philadelphia, PA) from 3pm-8pm.
Please be aware, the Navy Yard is undergoing significant construction. Participants can park within the Navy Yard anytime before 7:45am or once the spots are filled. We highly encourage teams to carpool or consider public transportation. After 8am, Broad Street will be closed to traffic and all parking will be in the Novacare lot. We will be offering shuttle transportation from there. (Visuals coming soon)

NBTS will be monitoring all guidance and guidelines in place by the CDC and local government in the spring and will make the best decisions for our vulnerable community. Any guidelines will be communicated to registered participants in the weeks leading up to event day. We ask those unable or unwilling to abide by requested COVID-related protocols on event day to participate virtually from the comfort of their home. No registration fees nor donations will be refunded.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, National Brain Tumor Society plans to implement the following safety measures for in-person outdoor 2022 events. Please note these are subject to change if conditions worsen in the coming months. NBTS will continue to follow local and national CDC guidelines related to safely convening our community. Please be advised that while we realize restrictions are loosening in some of the regions that we serve, the health and safety of our most vulnerable attendees is our greatest priority. Please reach out to Theresa Milanese at email@example.com if you have any questions or concerns.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in adhering to the above protocol during your event. We are so excited to come together as a community after two years and with your help, we can do so safely.
As an event sponsor, your organization will connect with the brain tumor community on a platform that will enable meaningful and enduring impact for both your brand and our mission. Sponsorship will allow your organization to make a difference in the lives of millions.
