Glioblastoma Awareness Day, July 17, 2024
On this sixth annual Glioblastoma Awareness Day, we unite to raise nationwide awareness about glioblastoma (GBM), the most common, complex, treatment-resistant, and deadliest type of brain cancer. National Brain Tumor Society spearheaded this annual event in 2019 to support survivors and their loved ones, to remember those who are no longer with us, and to honor luminaries working toward a cure and better quality of life for those living with this devastating disease.
In these weeks leading up to July 17, we are sharing stories, information, and ways to take action and raise awareness about glioblastoma, and on GBM Day, NBTS will share a video program highlighting the GBM experiences from diverse perspectives, amplifying the voices of patients, care partners, surgeons, and researchers.
