I was diagnosed in 2014 with a life expectancy of 3-5 years. Well, it’s been 9 years, and my scans are showing my tumor is still there, but it’s stable. My husband has been my rock. He is always there when I get a headache, feel fatigued, or am feeling sorry for myself.

This experience has taught me to cherish every day that I wake up healthy. I have changed my attitude and want to live my life to the fullest. Traveling to Italy, skydiving, and saying yes when I would have said no is all a result of my brain tumor. I believe that I was given this life because I am strong enough to live it.
