My brain tumor journey

Published on April 22, 2018 in Share Your Story

Hi my name is Tishekie Lane and I am a 20 year old young lady with brain tumor stage 3. I been battling this terrible brain tumor since I was 5. I just started kindergarten, and my eyes started to change. I started drooling and I would walk funny so we first went to my doctor, and she immediately rushed us up to the upstate hospital.  That day, my life changed I had to go through radiation and since the tumor was on my brain stem, they couldn’t touch it. So imagine having headaches all through elementary – high school and college.

I am now only 20 years old, and my tumor has recurred. I can’t walk by myself, I can’t go back to school, and I can’t work.  I want people to know that to have faith and support of your family I want to just live a normal young lady life and not be in this pain no more I want a miracle to happen and I go back into remission for life. Thanks for hearing my story.
