Hello everyone out there. My name is Julia. I am writing to you today to share the story of my Mom, Peggy.

My Mom passed away from brain cancer in January 2014. Though she suffered from many illnesses through out her life some people could never tell. She was kind, calm, patient, and had the most generous heart I have ever known. She kept a positive attitude no matter what she was dealing with. Now I guess I am not sure if she was like that to protect me and the people she loved, but she certainly played it off!

I took care of her for months as her sickness got worse which was one of the more difficult heart breaks in my life. My world has been shattered. I am now planning to hike the Appalachian Trail in her name in March of 2016. Before this happens I plan to have a fundraising concert event with all proceeds going to N.B.T.S. Wish me luck!
