Game Changer

Trish

Tim and I have been married 26 years. Rewind to December 2010, he’d been having terrible headaches for about six weeks, went to three doctors who gave him migraine medication, but didn’t order any scans. One night it got so bad we went to the ER where they did a CT and found a huge mass. He was undergoing brain surgery 48 hrs later on January 26, 2011. He suffered a stroke during surgery. Pathology showed it was GBM IV. He had chemo/radiation, and three months later it came back. He had another surgery on May 31, 2011 and started chemo two weeks later. The last six months have been hard but Tim remains very positive. He’s an inspiration to me, his two kids, and all who know him.
