Just me and my stuff

Published on June 8, 2019 in Share Your Story

Hi there, my name is Mike and I like virtually anyone else here is a guy with the scary kiss from God. Like all life it is as long or as short as it is and there is not a lot we can do about the facts but the living for as long as we can, that’s the part that matters. When I was first affected by the cancer I was on the roof for UCSF Nursing teaching area and I had to lead an important meeting to DRIVE home. Not a smart guy.

All of this was now 13 years ago, and my surgeon Dr. Burgur (spelling is not sure) has done the job so completely that more often than not I can speak and I wrote without a checker.

What have I learned in 13 years? Try hard to be nice to people. (all people, because God don’t care) and stop acting stupid you know what is stupid, just stop, as for us and them that’s just us acting stupid.

What having to glioblastoma in 13 years, apparently nothing. I am so lucky that I’ve had a great folks from UCSF to take care of me, but really, I’m a lucky freak and so every night I say a prayer with my wife (the brains of the operation) standing right there with me to basically say thank you my boss. I will always try to do what you show.

Mike
