My Justin

Michelle

My son Justin was 27 years old when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor and in addition to that, he had kidney cancer. As time went by, Justin would complain of headaches and as his parents, we would tell him to take some Tylenol and try to relax. Just a few weeks ago we took Justin for some tests since he wasn’t feeling well and couldn’t keep anything down even a glass of water. I took him to the closest emergency room and by that time he was dehydrated. The hospital gave him an IV and then took several tests. As they were waiting for the test results, our son Justin had a seizure. The brain was very swollen we were told by his physician. We begged him to keep talking and was telling him how much we love him. His last words were “love you”. Justin didn’t make it, but we know he will be in our prayers every day for the rest of our lives. I just want parents to be aware if their children tell them they have a headache, please take it serious that this can be the cause of a brain tumor. No matter how near or far apart, Justin will always be in our heart.
