Keep the line moving

Jeff

On October 22nd I had surgery to remove a 2 cm meningioma. My neurosurgeon and the staff at the University of Kansas Hospital did a wonderful job and within a couple days I was out of the hospital continuing my recovery. Every day gets a little bit better as I bounce back from this crazy experience.

I feel very fortunate to be where I am on this journey – to borrow a rallying phrase from my favorite team, the world series champion Kansas City Royals, “Keep the line moving!” – meaning everyone on the team keeps contributing in a small way that adds up to a big win. Day by day, I see my energy, stamina, and ability to focus, gradually improve. I always keep pushing, never overdoing it, but just small gradual increases in activity to gradually improve my health.
