I was diagnosed with a GMB in December 2004. I had surgery, radiation and chemo. Three months later, my tumor came back. I had another surgery and some more chemo. I was told my prognosis did not look good and I should have no shame “throwing in” the towel. In the fall of 2005, I returned back to work. My scans showed that my tumor was no longer there. Many say (and I believe) that this is truly a miracle since GMB’s usually have a low to no survival rate. I believe in the power prayer and keeping a positive outlook.
