Medical Marvel….True Blessing

Published on February 11, 2019 in Share Your Story

My name is Jessica. I was diagnosed with an astrocytoma when I was three years old. I had seventeen brain surgeries, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, six subdural hematomas, a stroke, a coma and meningitis between age three and age twelve.

I also have a Ventricular shunt and subdural shunt. The first tumor was in my cerebellum. The second one was on my left optic nerve and the third was on my brain stem. A couple of months ago, I was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in my cerebellar.

I was scheduled to have surgery yesterday and on Tuesday night, my mother recieved a telephone call from my surgeon, who reported that my pre-op MRI showed that the tumor had disappeared!!! God is an awesome God. Prayer changes EVERYTHING!!!!
