A minor detour.

Published on June 21, 2017 in Share Your Story

I suffered a mild seizure on the morning of Oct 2, 2016. 20 days later I had a complete resection of 3 small tumors in my right temporal lobe.
Today, 8 months post surgery, radiation and 6 rounds of chemo, I am cancer free!
Recovering from brain surgery is tricky. I am very fortunate to have a great support system, great family, great friends, great doctors, and faith in God. I would not be where I am today if it were not for all of the great people that surround me.
What am I saying…”Friends be strong, stay positive, exercise, eat right, never give up, be diligent about your medicine, and remain hopeful. There is light at the end of the tunnel.
