Miracles Never Cease

Published on July 22, 2019 in Share Your Story

In October of 2017 I had an “episode” at home. With my wife & I both being nurses, we knew something wasn’t right. Therefore we were off to the ER.

Several hours later I was looking at a CT scan of my head & our friend — the ER doc — said I had a malignant tumor in my brain. 3 days later I was in surgery. I was told post op they weren’t sure I would walk again.

Fast forward to July 2019 — I just returned from a shopping trip & I walked 2 miles. Granted it’s the longest I have walked since surgery, but not bad for someone who might not walk again.
