A man in a white shirt, hat, and jeans, puts his arm around his daughter in a sweatshirt and jeans.

It all started with having numbness in his foot. The doctor was concerned about a tumor and tried to get him in somewhere ASAP. When he did get his scans in, sure enough, they saw something.

Surgery was scheduled, and a biopsy was done. Result: glioblastoma. He did chemo and radiation and was good for about 19 months, but then around Christmas, we noticed the walking was bad, and sure enough, it had grown on his brain stem. Five months later, after tremendous suffering, he died. It was so hard to watch someone you love so much fight and suffer the way he did.

TAGGED WITH: glioblastoma
