My Daddy My Hero

Published on July 17, 2019 in Share Your Story

Prior to May 8, 2011 I had never heard the word Glioblastoma.

That day my world changed forever when Daddy was diagnosed with GBM. He underwent surgery, radiation and chemo. He went from the strongest man I knew to a prisoner in his own body. He fought with all he had for 17 months but the beast won. His fight has become my fight. Every day, until I draw my last breath, I will fight for Brain Cancer Awareness and for a CURE!

He will always be my hero.
