My Daddy
Kimberly
My Daddy was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in May of 2011 after 4 tumors were found in his brain. Only one was operable. He was given 8 to 12 months to live. He is fighting hard but it breaks my heart to watch a very strong, healthy man of 69 who walked five miles a day now sit on a loveseat watching TV. He can no longer walk without help. He still is determined to do laps around my parent’s kitchen island and has someone on each side of him helping. I am now consumed with getting brain cancer/tumor awareness in the public eye. I look at what’s been done with breast cancer and I keep saying, “We are aware!” I want BRAIN cancer/tumor to be put in the forefront.
