My Guardian Angel

Caitlin

My mother died from a brain tumor that had completely covered her entire brain when I was 6 years old and I was the only one in the room. We need to raise awareness for brain tumors because it truly effects everyone. No one in my high school unless they know me personally would know that I watched my mother die all by myself and was frozen in fear and didn’t know what to do. They also don’t know that I’m the same girl that would give the jacket off my back for anyone if I feel it is right.

I do the best I can everyday in honor of my mother. My mother left my military father with me and my older sister, and he didn’t have a clue on how to raise two daughters by himself, since he is in the military and was always away. I also participate in any brain tumor awareness project because others need to know how many in America alone are affected by this.
