Never Ever Give Up

Collin

My name is Collin and my father, Matthew Heimbach, had a meningioma in his frontal lobe. His tumor was detected in 2006, although the tumor went undetected for 5 years prior. The doctors kept performing the wrong brain scans!

The surgery in 2006 to remove the tumor (once detected)left him incapacitated. My Dad was an adventurous man and always wished he could share is love for the outdoors with his children. His only wish is to walk again. His motto to this day is “never every give up”. I am planning a climb with NOLS next Spring in his honor to raise awareness and research for brain tumors. I need sponsorship and grants to achieve my goals. In turn, I will raise and hopefully match the amount of my awards for the National Brain Tumor Society. I want to share his unfortunate story so others afflicted with brain tumors can continue to life active healthy and happy lives. Thank you for your support. I am open to suggestions and directions.
