Not being told about my tumor

Published on April 18, 2016 in Share Your Story

I am a single mom raising my daughter. And in 2011 I had passed out and broke my back, and neck. Well the hospital done ct scan on head to make sure I was ok. Well a year later I was at school with my daughter for Christmas party and all of a sudden it felt like I was busted in the head head hurt so bad I couldn’t handle it so 3 days later went back to the hospital they done a ct scan and told me the mass they found in 2011 had gotten larger. I was in complete shock because the never told me about it. And from then till now I have had 5 brain surgeries, 33 radiation treatments, 148 chemo treatments and now I not only have 1 tumor but 4 and 1 tumor in the vessel of the thyroid. I have had a rough life. 2 broke backs, broke neck, mininjutis twice, 31 spinal taps, lymes, cervical cancer, Sjögren’s, RA, inflammatory arthritis, osteoporosis, and heart trouble. Well that’s my story of some of my life.
Wish there was some kind of support around where I live.
