I was diagnosed in January 2003 with a Grade 2 Oligodendronglioma in the right frontal part of my brain. Stanford successfully removed the entire tumor. I followed with four months on Temador chemo through a clinical trial at Cleveland Clinic. The location of the tumor effected my executive thinking, decision making, and short term memory. As a result I can no longer work as an accountant. But I am blessed in that I now stay home and volunteer for my son’s school and scout pack. I have been cancer free for eight years now and proud to be here to tell my story.
