Until I was 44, I was enjoying life without any issues. One day I visited my doctor for a routine checkup. I was advised to get a CT scan. My doctor was confused by the scan and referred me to Neurologist. Further tests confirmed that I had a brain tumor, and I immediately had surgery. I was discharged from the hospital and felt great.
But two years later, the tumor returned. I had another surgery, followed by chemotherapy and radiation. During this time, I also lost my mom, which was tough on me as I was already weak from the brain tumor. I am confident that one day I will be free of this disease!
