I was diagnosed with a cancerous brain tumor in 1992, at the age of 9. Thankfully the wonderful doctors at children’s hospital in Pittsburgh, PA were able to remove the tumor. Following months of chemo and radiation therapy and the wonderful support of family, friends and teachers I can now say that I have been cancer free for 21 years!
