Tumor Me – The Story of My Firefighter

Judith

My story is quite long. It is a memoir that chronicles my son, Alex Stevenson’s nine- year struggle with brain cancer. Alex was a CAL FIRE Fire Apparatus Engineer and Fire Inspector who died on May 24, 2013 of job-related brain cancer. He was awarded full honors at his Celebration of Life. The “blurb” on the back of the memoir introduces the story of a man who had been living his childhood dream of being a firefighter until cancer took his life.
