My Tumor Story

Published on July 22, 2018 in Share Your Story

On June 17, 2017 I was diagnose with a meningioma tumor, the a size of baseball. I was having tingling feeling on my right side of my face and my eye sight would come and go. I got operated on Aug 17, 2017, it all happen so fast for me. Now a year later my MRI came back looking good. I will keep getting an MRI once a year to make sure nothing comes back. This journey has been a blessing for me. It change my life. I appreciate life more and I try not to take it for granted. It was scary at the time and sometimes I still get scare it might come back. My husband and my three boys were my rock through this whole ordeal. They were the true inspiration showing me strength when I knew they felt weak. I love them so much and they are the reason why I was able to pull through. Having a support system makes everything a lot easier.
