I am fortunate!

Published on May 12, 2020 in Share Your Story

I am fortunate.

I only have to live with a diagnosed, partial removal and proton beam radiation treated A-typical Grade II Meningioma.

My grandson is one year out from removal of a Mendulloblastoma, proton beam radiation treatment, chemotherapy and on going therapy to overcome severe posteria fossa – relearning everything; like swallowing to enable him to eat again, talking, walking, use of arms and hands, balance, coordination and trying to catch up on life.

Childhood cancer cannot be given words to express the impact, I am at a loss!

But I am fortunate. I have a beautiful grandson.
