My brave husband’s battle

Published on January 7, 2020 in Share Your Story

My husband, Howard, was diagnosed with GBM right after his 61st birthday.

He has been nothing short of heroic. He has decided to fight this disease with grace, love, and grit. Nothing will be left unsaid.

As I travel this road with him I am constantly amazed by his graciousness and desire to help others. He volunteered to talk to other newly diagnosed patients. He reaches out to everyone he meets at the radiation center. We have made several new friends!

He has just started his radiation treatment so we aren’t sure where our next road will take us. But I am happy to find this amazing community.
