My Father, My Forever Hero

Published on July 22, 2019 in Share Your Story

Our 68 year old father was rushed to emergency room via Ambulance on January 1st 2015. We were advised the following day that he had Glioblastoma.

He underwent surgery, rehab then radiation and chemotherapy. His tumors grew instead of shrinking.

My father went from being an active, full-of-life personality to bed-bound person and it broke my heart to see him mentally and physically decline.

Then on July 4th he was called home to be with our Lord in Heaven. Surrounded by family.

My father displayed so much faith and strength during his battle while praying for others and not even thinking of himself.

Dad, you were one in million. You were and will forever be our beloved hero.
