Meet Mike & Rachel
In March of 2025, Mike was on a work trip when he was diagnosed with a brain tumor. He endured an awake craniotomy; weeks in the hospital and rehab; radiation; and months of chemotherapy. Overwhelmed by unknowns, his wife, Rachel, connected with the National Brain Tumor Society’s Personalized Support and Navigation team, who helped them ask the right questions to find the best care team.
No one should have to face this disease alone. No matter where you are in your brain tumor experience, we are here for you. From offering patient navigation and support groups to hosting advocacy and fundraising events, we support and unite the brain tumor community all year round.
