Sweet Dear Betty

Three years ago on 1/9/2015 my mother was diagnosed with Glioblastoma and I participated in my first walk because I wanted to help her so badly and I wanted to learn more about this horrible disease. I will not go into too much detail but exactly one year later on 1/9/2016 my mother passed away and so I participated again in honor of her memory and for support. Last year I decided to become a co-chair and raise more awareness and educate the community of what this horrible disease is and what it can do. The main thing I tell my community, family and friends is that this disease does not discriminate and that anyone young or old can get it. Going into my fourth year I participate, volunteer, raise money and awareness for the soul purpose of finding a cure once and for all and continue to honor my mother, all the sick, all those that have passed on, the family and friends and all the caregivers. God Bless everyone and I hope one day we can beat this horrible disease.
