Each year, the National Brain Tumor Society offers a limited number of travel scholarships to Head to the Hill attendees. This past spring, at least 45 advocates couldn’t join us at Head to the Hill because there weren’t enough scholarships, leaving critical districts and states either unrepresented or underrepresented. 

The U.S. government is the #1 funder of brain tumor research — so it’s vital that constituents from every corner of the country can travel to Head to the Hill to advocate to their own lawmakers on behalf of the brain tumor community. 

When you give to our 50K for 50 States campaign, your generosity directly funds scholarships for survivors, care partners, and loved ones who could otherwise not attend, ensuring that more Senators and Representatives will be motivated by their own constituents to prioritize funding for brain tumor research and support policies that serve patients and caregivers today.

Every dollar donated to this campaign directly funds a Head to the Hill scholarship for someone who couldn’t otherwise attend.
