DIPG

Charlie

Charlie was a regular, active, 7 year old boy, who was diagnosed with DIPG 1 week before his 8th birthday. The doctors gave him 9-12 months to live. They told his parents he would not live to see his 9th birthday. Charlie underwent trial treatment to try to extend his “quality of life”. Charlie had a heart of pure gold! He touched the lives of many in a positive way. Charlie lived 17 months after his diagnosis, but experienced more in his 17 months, than most experience in a lifetime! DIPG has a 99.9% mortality rate!
