Published on May 2, 2019 in Share Your Story

Deja my daughter, a mother, wife lost her battle to GBM in 9/9/2012, she was diagnosed 3/2011. Age 35, I was so lucky to have been able to spend her last 8; months with her. Moving to WA, a choice I’ll never regret. Her courage, humor laughter, giving me her fears, no words left unsaid. It changed me, this disease affects Family, Friends, forever, I keep Deja alive, by sharing memories, advocating as she was a part of me, half my heart went with her, I see Deja riding Sandy the breeze blowing thru her hair. I know we shall be together again. I will advocate till my last days.
