My Sister’s Story

IRMA

My sister is Naomi and we are best friends We do everything together we talk on the phone 4 or 5 times a day. The middle of August 2013 she complained of her memory that she was losing some and was concerned about it. I told her to go to the doctor and find out about it. Her appt. was one month later the day came and that morning she looked in the mirror to find that her mouth had drooped when she went in they thought she had a stroke and put her in the hospital They found that she had brain cancer and it was primary. They did a biopsy on her left side and have been treating her with radiation and chemo therapy. The worst thing is that she had a seizure from a bleed out of the incision when they did the biopsy. She has lost the ability to speak her hand cant move and she cant walk. It is devastating to both of us. The journey is on going only through the grace of God have we been able to get through this.
