My sons wedding is my goal to get me thru

Published on September 10, 2019 in Share Your Story

In July of 2019, after a couple of weeks of minor symptoms – mostly a weak left side – my oncologist ordered an MRI and my glioblastoma tumor was discovered.

I had surgery a couple of days later and started radiation right away. I started temodar 2 weeks later. No side effects other than fatigue so I’m enjoying my daily afternoon naps. Zofrain keeps nausea away.

My son is getting married in late October and my goal is to feel well enough to attend. I have a 2nd opinion appointment with Johns Hopkins later this week.
