In 2010 I was diagnosed with anaplastic astrocytoma grade 3, I was 22 years old. I lost the vision in my right eye after the brain biopsy, at that moment I started to lose hope until I saw my 4-year-old daughter confused and hurt. I was then in fight mode and wasn’t going to let her see me broken and at that time I made her a promise that she would never have to say “I wish my mom was here.”

In 2019, I was again diagnosed with another Brain tumor called gliomatosis cerebri.
