Pete was the type of kid to pick up a sport after his older brothers and master it quicker than they could. He was humble about it, too, leaving a lasting impression on everyone around him.


Pete was diagnosed at age 14, the day after St Patrick’s Day. This day will forever go down as St. Pete-ricks Day in our family.


Once the pathology came back as giant cell glioblastoma, we kicked it into high gear and enjoyed every moment together as a family, knowing that tomorrow isn’t promised. Just 13 months after diagnosis, we lost our brother. Since then, the family has celebrated St. Pete-ricks day in his honor.
